I’m Daniel Sirz. Cloud software architect at Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH in Mannheim.

Actually this picture shows a younger me, taken in August 2011. It was a super hot summer day when i went to the photographer. As I posed as a businessman, I remained uncertain about the trajectory of my career as a consultant.

Looking back, i learned a lot. Did many projects for several customers as a consultant. After eight years of consulting i decided to be part of a large enterprise, because i didn´t want to switch projects and customers anymore.

I really enjoy my current role at work, a good mix of organizational tasks and development. A team i can rely on and discussions that keep me going make the job a fun part of the day.
